Event Submission Rules and Guidelines

Hey there, thanks for your interest in submitting an event for Furality Somna!

Here we have a list of Rules and Guidelines to follow when submitting an event, to help you be better informed about what we do or don't accept! RULES must be followed strictly, or else your submission will not be considered. We take these seriously to ensure the best experience for our attendees and team, in accordance with the Furality Online Xperience Code of Conduct and VRChat Community Guidelines.

GUIDELINES are tips and tricks to help you get the best possible chance of being accepted as an event host! You don't need to follow every single thing mentioned, but it will improve your chances greatly and make it easier on our team.

We can't wait to see all your wonderful and informative ideas for our convention events!

RULES

  • You and your co-hosts must be 18 years of age or older on June 5th, 2025
  • Event hosts are expected to present live. Pre-recorded events are not allowed without explicit discussion and approval from the Events team.
  • Explicit content is not accepted, however innuendo/lightly suggestive content is allowed as long as it follows within Furality's Code of Conduct. When in doubt, refer to the VRChat Community Guidelines. This includes host(s) avatars.
  • Must be willing to present using an avatar in an instance with attendees present
  • Use of copyrighted audio/video should be coordinated with our team to ensure Twitch guidelines are being followed in regards to licensing.
  • Content must be relevant to the furry and/or VR community.
  • You and your co-hosts must have a VR headset that can run VRChat using the PC version. Quest/mobile is not supported in the host instance.
  • Be qualified to discuss your content.
  • Events must be no longer than 50 minutes.

GUIDELINES

  • A video showcasing an example of your event in action goes a long way in helping our team understand the show you wish to give!
  • Think about what skills or knowledge you have that could be useful for the community to know about! Perhaps you have some sick Substance Painter tricks, or know AudioLink like the back of your paw!
  • Live performances should be accompanied with videos showcasing your performance. VR recordings are strongly preferred.
  • Content is strongly encouraged to be related to VR.
  • Have qualifications and experience in the field related to the content you're presenting! This helps ensure that accurate information is given.
  • Notify the Events Team of intended self-advertising beyond simple shout-outs of socials.
  • You don't have to pad out your event to fill the entire 50-minute time slot! Presentations can include Q&A, for example.
  • Video clips inside your presentation are acceptable.
